Introduction

O&O Syspectr monitors your Windows PCs, servers and virtual machines in the background and reports possible problems right away, before they cause damage. At the same time, it gives you a complete overview of your Windows infrastructure: hardware, software, usage and health of the drives, connection status, internal and external IP addresses and much more.

You manage O&O Syspectr in the web browser. Any current browser on any device with an Internet connection will do. Because the application is entirely web-based, you need no additional software or plug-ins – this also applies to Remote Desktop, which runs completely in the browser.

O&O Syspectr shows all relevant system information whenever you need it: hardware, software, usage and condition of the drives, connection status, internal and external IP addresses and more.

Spot problems before they hurt​

O&O Syspectr monitors your Windows systems in the background and keeps you informed of possible problems: newly installed software, the state of Windows security, failed updates and more. It can also notify you whenever a USB storage device is connected, and you can block such devices to keep malicious software out and important documents in.

Drives are another common source of problems. O&O Syspectr shows their current usage and warns you when it exceeds a critical value, so that a full server no longer brings the whole company to a halt. By monitoring the health values of the drives, it also warns you early about a drive that is about to fail.

Manage IT, help your users and offer it as a service​

O&O Syspectr does not only monitor, it also lets you take action: with Remote Desktop you can help your users or customers directly on their PCs whenever needed. All you need is a browser and a device with an Internet connection – whether you want to change a setting for a colleague while you are at the airport or take a look at a server. Connections are encrypted, and your account can be protected with two-factor authentication.

Many system settings can be changed directly in O&O Syspectr. With Remote Console and PowerShell scripts, you can also use the command line.

Thanks to its built-in multi-client capability, you can offer remote monitoring and management (RMM) to your customers as a service.

Editions​

O&O Syspectr is available in four editions:

  • Free – monitoring, security and inventory for up to 10 PCs and servers, free of charge and without time limit.
  • Premium – any number of PCs and servers, plus remote management (Remote Desktop, Remote Console, PowerShell scripts), groups, reports and more.
  • Enterprise – everything in Premium, plus additional user accounts with roles, rollout with the MSI file, longer event retention and customer management for IT service providers.
  • Resilience – everything in Enterprise, plus features for emergencies such as access to the Windows Recovery Environment and Intel AMT/vPro.
