Software
The Software module shows at a glance which programs are installed on your system, with their version, installation date and the space they use. The available actions are collected in the Actions tab.
Update programs
This function requires O&O Syspectr Premium or a higher edition. Compare the editions
O&O Syspectr regularly checks whether new versions of the installed programs are available and lists the available updates with their version numbers. You can install these updates manually or let O&O Syspectr install them automatically for selected programs. This way your software stays up to date, security gaps are closed, and you benefit from the latest improvements and functions.
Uninstall programs
O&O Syspectr can uninstall some programs remotely. You can recognize them by the button with a cross in the right column. To be uninstalled remotely, a program needs an uninstallation routine that follows the Windows standards, as most modern programs using the Microsoft Installer (MSI) have. Some programs cannot be uninstalled with this module, for example because they ask the user for input. To remove such programs, use the Remote Desktop module.
